For me, the mountains are not a stage to feed the ego; they are a temple where I practice my religion.
WHO I AM
I’m Sergio San José, or as everyone knows me, Sanjo. I’m from Aragon, Spain from the Pyrenees, and I’ve been living in Chamonix since the winter of 2018. I consider myself a passionate, cheerful, resilient, social, and respectful person, with the intention of making the most of, growing, and learning from every experience.
Over the years, I have explored wild and remote mountain environments through a wide variety of activities. This journey has given me a refined ability to read the terrain, understand where conditions are likely to be favorable, and choose the right place at the right moment to share meaningful experiences in the mountains.
WHAT I DO
I am a Mountain Guide and graduated in Tourism. I’ve been skiing since I was a child, and I love it, just like going to the mountains and connecting with nature. I really enjoy and practice climbing, mountaineering, trekking, biking, yoga, slackline... also passionate about traveling, cooking, gardening, animals, spirituality, meditation, astrology, reading, sustainability, music, photography.
